David Stenstrøm Senior Fullstack Engineer · Aarhus
I take web products from the first sketch to stable production: frontend, backend and the infrastructure underneath.
I've been building for the web for ten years, mostly with TypeScript, React, Next.js and Node.js, at companies like Trifork, Salling Group and EV-Remarketing. I trained as a multimedia designer, so I'm as comfortable turning a vague need into a prototype as I am planning a migration with the team. I'm looking for my next role as a senior fullstack engineer or tech lead.
What I'm good at
- Owning the whole stack. I build Next.js and React frontends and Node.js and PostgreSQL backends, and I write the infrastructure as code with Terraform on GCP, AWS and Hetzner. At EV-Remarketing I moved releases and deploys to GitHub Actions, release-please and Terraform, so every release is reproducible and the infrastructure can be rebuilt from code.
- Changing live systems without stopping them. I planned and led the split of a live Next.js platform into a customer portal and a back-office. The old app kept running untouched until each part had moved over.
- Leading the technical direction. I was lead frontend engineer at Vibrant and frontend lead on Trifork's healthcare projects, including an identity and access platform for public health institutions. I mentor colleagues and work closely with designers and the business on the backlog and roadmap.
- Making AI part of how the team ships. I built Review Council, an automated pull-request reviewer on the Claude Agent SDK. In a backtest on 40 past PRs, it sent all six problematic ones to a human. It also caught a security fix that an update had rolled back.
